One more day...

Today I worked on my presentation and I must say, I'm pleased haha.
Tomorrow is my last day working in the office and its gonna be weird. I'm so used to waking up every morning and coming here that I'll probably be lost the first couple of days.
I got my first comment on my blog today, YAY and ummm my friend from Kuwait is in Tokyo so no fun news from her.
So that's about it.

up comming Presentation

Today I finished up my information on endangered species and surprisingly I found alot but also alot of the same information. Carrie and I put together some of the rest of the stuff for my presentation and that's pretty much what I've been working on. Today I started my powerpoint back up which idk, I'm gonna have to see which one is easier to follow because the powerpoint is lookin PERTY good right now.
anyway, two days left in the office, gotta make use of em.

Endangered Species

Today I've been finishing up the research section of my endangered species presentation and doing some editing on my report but nothing really exciting to report.
It is my last week and apparently my dad is going to be going to brunswick with me.
So yeah,
have a good one, I need to go to my other job now.

Trip to the coast..

These past couple of days I haven't been writing because I've been not quite busy busy but occupying my time with being down at the darling marine center.
Carrie and I went down to her house tuesday night, her parents are so cute, Wednesday we went down to the darling marine center. It's so beautiful there and wednesday was a great day. I went to a workshop with Carrie in the morning. It was a bunch of teachers talking about teaching concepts to students so it was weird for me to listen to them talk about how they teach us. One of the science teachers at my school happened to be there as well so I talked to him. We did some labs afterwards, not so interesting but then i went up to the library. I didn't stay in there long because I just wanted to be outside so I went down to the dock and tried to get work done but the outside even though its peaceful can be very distracting. We also went on a tour of the center and i got to see algae and and clams and oysters.
That night we went down to pemaquid point which was also very nice and we went out to eat and I cracked my first lobster =). I stayed in the cabin that night and wokeup early, well for me, to go to breakfast. Did some work in the library then snuck into Annette's (my mentor's) office and we chatted and she's great. Not what i had pictured but shes really cool. Went back down to lunch and then went to another lab where i got to burn food haha.
We ended up getting out of there early which was good for me because apparently i was really tired but all in all it was a great couple of days.
Today i worked on my essay and looking at some more endangered species stuff.
Off for more work and a weekend of who knows what.

Lots of writing

I just sent my report to Jana and just like I told her I will tell all of you that lately has been editing my work and then adding more. I've gotten just about all the information I need, except for later this week I'm going to be looking at endangered species which i like. Not that I like endangered species its just that the topic hits home to me and I'm really interested in finding out what we can do. I know there are turtles endangered in the area and thats a big thing throughout the world. Tonight, Carrie and I are leaving to go down to the coast and then to the Darling Marine Center tomarrow. I'm so excited you don't even realize because I have been cooped up in this office for the past...5? weeks and a change will be nice. hopefully it will be nicer than it is right now with all the thunderstorms. anyway, time to head out for the day.

long time no blogging...

These past couple of days have been about editing my story and most of my work. Editing is alot of hours and hard for me to grasp because well.. I'm wordy, and so isn't Carrie. Everything is going good though and we're starting to wrap up everything. Mariam, the girl I talk to is putting giving me a picture to help me with my presentation because she has been such a big help for me to try to understand what they're doing millions of miles away. It's the weekend and it means I have two weeks left.

days fly by..

Today was actually a really good day.
It seemed to go by really quickly.
I worked on some descriptions and went through pictures
I also went to the aquaculture center which was really cool
It was a lot different then I thought it was going to be and I liked it
I found out that the fish they grow don't even go into the ocean, they go to pet stores
because if fish stores get them directly from the ocean they can have cyanide on them
and we were growing clown fish, like nemos which I thought we would be growing Maine fish.
anyway, it was a good day.
